Lu Caruso

Lu’s interest in movement began in 2009, initiated by a struggle with her mental health. She began seeking alternative practices to assist in developing healthier coping strategies, repairing her relationship with herself, and to support continued growth.⠀

Lu is a community activist and has a passion for social justice, and building stronger communities. She believes that her movement practice has assisted with her healing and allowed her to facilitate an experience where hopefully other’s have a safe space to do the same. Lu teaches with specific emphasis on breathing and mindfulness, with a focus on developing awareness of the patterns and habits of the mind and body.
